CreativeCoffee Club will next meet on Wednesday 5th October 2011. We will be in the Screen Lounge at Phoenix Square from 10am to 12noon for open networking and a chance to catch up after the summer. Why not join us for coffee, conversation and creativity?
Public Speaking Seminar Session with Lawrence Ward
In anticipation of Leicester Speaks Week, 12th to 24th October 2011, Lawrence Ward of Ripple Effect Theatre will be holding a seminar and workshop in the art of effective public speaking in Screen 1 at Phoenix Square. With video footage and full use of this unique space, Lawrence will guide CreativeCoffee members and the like through the art of projecting your voice, gaining the attention of your audience and generally being loud enough to be heard. There will also be the chance to practice what you learn too!
The Future
We’re pleased to announce that the management and coordination of CreativeCoffee Club has been handed over to Phoenix Square from 1st August 2011. Phoenix Square was already an important partner of DMU (The original founders of CreativeCoffee Club) and this move is further evidence of our continued collaboration.

It's situated just round the back of Curve Theatre, 5 minutes’ walk from the station and from Leicester City Centre.
